Thomas Sokoly, DDS
Thomas D. Sokoly, DDS, is a talented and friendly dentist who’s been improving the smiles of the patients in the Washington metropolitan area since 1995. He currently treats patients at Sokoly Dental located in Washington D.C.
Dr. Sokoly has trained with some of the world’s most distinguished cosmetic and restorative dentists. He spent nearly 10 years working directly with his father, Laszlo Sokoly, DDS, a beloved dentist who earned a strong reputation for his excellent cosmetic and restorative skills during the 40 plus years he practiced in Washington D.C.
Dr. Sokoly has been recognized by several prominent organizations for his empathetic patient care and skilled dental abilities. He’s a fellow to the International College of Dentists, a fellow to the American College of Dentists, and served as the general chairman of the 2014 Nation’s Capital Mid-Atlantic Dental Meeting.
He is also known for being a leader in his field. Dr. Sokoly was the president of the DC Dental Society in 2016 and currently sits on the board of directors. He also serves on the board of directors of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Sokoly is incredibly active in his field, enjoying memberships in the Maimonides Dental Society, the Millenium Dental Study Club, and the Dental Science Study Club.
Dr. Sokoly always strives to deliver personalized care and ample attention to all his patients. He believes in a collaborative approach to dentistry, educating his patients on their conditions and developing a treatment plan that makes everybody happy.

Melissa Good, RDH
Melissa graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. When she entered the dental field in 2004 where she started as a clinical coordinator. Certified in Local Anesthetic, Nitrous Oxide Administration, and Laser-Assisted Periodontal Therapy. Melissa has worked as a Dental Hygienist in the District of Columbia, Michigan, and Virginia. She also practiced as a Dental assistant and Dental Hygienist abroad in Singapore.
Melissa has a passion for caring for others. Enjoys staying up-to-date with continuing education courses and wants her Patients to be comfortable and taken care of at the highest level. She enjoys providing a thorough experience for her patients and making sure their dental health concerns are addressed.

Renee Davidson
With over 21 years at Sokoly Dental, Renee has grown alongside the practice, beginning as a Certified Dental Assistant and now serving as Office Manager and CoolPeel Certified Laser Aesthetic Specialist. Her deep understanding of both patient care and practice operations allows her to bridge clinical expertise with exceptional service. Renee oversees insurance coordination, scheduling, and the day-to day flow that keeps the office running smoothly. Her genuine care ensures every patient’s experience is smooth, comfortable, and personalized.
